Toxic Coach is designed with privacy in mind. We minimize the data we collect.
Local Storage: The app heavily relies on local storage (AsyncStorage) to store your tasks, progress, settings, and generated roasts. This data remains on your device.
Microphone and Biometrics: The app may use your device's microphone for dictation and FaceID/TouchID (Biometrics) to securely lock the app. This data is processed locally on your device.
AI Processing: To provide the "roasting" functionality, your task titles, statuses, and excuses are securely transmitted to our backend, which interfaces with Google Gemini for text generation and ElevenLabs for voice synthesis. We do not use your tasks to train AI models.
We use RevenueCat (and the underlying Google Play Store / Apple App Store infrastructure) to securely process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
RevenueCat may collect anonymous app user IDs and purchase history to validate subscriptions across devices.
We do not have access to your raw credit card information or direct billing details.
Toxic Coach uses Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version.
Google AdMob may collect and use data (such as advertising IDs and usage data) to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.
You can manage your ad preferences or opt-out of personalized advertising through your device's operating system settings.
